Well, we have a proven approach to determine what we in the industry call the Most Probable Selling Price or MPSP. We determine that in part by analyzing financial statements. Compare those to the market and category of business, and compare all of that to historical sales in your particular category of business. All of this analysis allows us to come up with what we call a Brokers Opinion of Value or BOV. Finally, we perform an operational analysis with business owners in order to fully understand the business. Much of this is done in the initial meeting, but we will find an appropriate time to visit the business and see the operation. This process and analysis gives us an in depth understanding of the business allowing us in turn to provide buyers with an accurate description of the benefits and advantages of your business.

We write a two part comprehensive marketing document that is custom-designed for your business. One part is specific text which populates all of the Internet sites we market your business to. This piece is informative, interesting, and vague all at the same time in order to “get the word out” and maintain confidentiality.
